Caller says that a few weeks ago on a Friday night it was advertised on TV that Kurt Cobain's aunt would be speaking at the Burien Library in Burien, Seattle. His aunt was speaking to encourage children not to do drugs and stay off the streets. Caller says she went to see his aunt speak at the library. There was talk about whether Kurt committed suicide or it was a murder. Caller says that the aunt said it was suicide, but caller says that she felt the aunt felt it was murder and was scared to say so. Caller says the aunt was very critical and praised Kurt Cobain at the same time. Caller says that the aunt said at Kurt Cobain's funeral, her and Courtney Love had an argument. But the aunt never said what the argument had been about. Because of the argument Courtney Love would not allow the aunt to see Kurt Cobain's young girl. Caller said it would be interesting for a researcher in this case to see the aunt to speak with her, Caller says that the electrician who found Kurt Cobain's body is a neighbor of her daughter's and the caller was wondering why the electrician was there that day. Caller thinks the aunt knows more about his death and is just scared to say so. Caller also does not want anyone to think that the aunt would be a suspect because she had nothing to do with his death. Nothing further.

Caller spent her honeymoon in Seattle when this took place, in the Quality Inn City Center Hotel. He was seen on March 31st, he had 3 or 4 men with him. He was sitting in the lobby. Caller said he was not saying anything. This was 1994. Caller said she does not know if he stayed that night but he was there in the afternoon. The phone number of the hotel is: 206-624-6820. One of the clerks (male) saw him also and recognized him as Kurt Cobain.

Caller feels he saw Cobain at Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue, WA, east of Seattle 4 nights before he died. Caller says he was driving an old Dodge Dart, light color, no known plates. When the caller went into the mall, he saw him again inside the mall. The suspect was with a girl. Description: White male, 6 ft., long blond hair, shoulder length, no known eye color, 25. Girl suspect: White female, auburn hair, 25, 5'10". The couple appeared clean and well dressed. Male suspect was clean shaven. Nothing further. Caller wonders if the girl he saw suspect with at the mall could be Kristin Pfaff, a member of the rock group 'Hole' who died 3 months after Cobain. Hole is Courtney Love's (Cobain's wife) band's name.

Caller would like to make contact with the detective Tom Grant. The caller spoke to another operator this evening. The agent asked the caller for the name of the other agent, but the caller could not remember. Caller said he does not think the case was a suicide. Caller said to ask Mr. Grant to check Boeing Field for airplane arrivals from Los Angeles, on the date of the murder or shortly before the date of the murder. Caller said "private airplane murder celebrity, in disguise". "This is a show business murder". Caller said Tom Grant will have to dig, caller said the airplane would have come to Seattle under false pretenses. Caller said the murderer arrived in Seattle at Boeing Field and flew right back to Los Angeles after the murder.

The caller is calling about untruths in the story. Caller says Tom Grant's information about the credit cards. Caller was staying with Cobain prior to him missing. Caller says he and Cobain had left the house and were staying at other places like the Monte Carlo Motel in Seattle. Caller wants to talk to the investigator because Tom Grant seems to be creating an intentional hype. Caller was living at the house and the main nanny, Cali, was best friend.

The caller is calling for a friend. Caller's friend's friend was Kurt Cobain's friend and he told her friend that the night before Kurt had died, Courtney Love came walking into the house drunk. Caller states Courtney went into Kurt's room and they had a fight. This woke up the friend who went to a hotel because of the fight. The next day the friend called and Courtney Love was not at the house and there was no answer at the house. Caller states that Unsolved Mysteries stated that the nanny was at the house but no one answered the phone and the friend of Kurt Cobain was very worried. Caller states that the daughter also was not at home and the mother had gone. Caller used to be a friend of Courtney Love and she said that the bottom writing on the letter looked more like Courtney's writing than Kurt's.

Caller stated that he was Courtney's personal bodyguard and limo driver for 13 days from the time she arrived in Washington. Caller stated that "Dylan" who lives in Lake City, Washington (caller has address if FBI wants to talk to caller) was Kurt's drug dealer. Caller stated that Kurt was at his ranch in Carnation (east of Seattle) during the period of Kurt's disappearance. Caller stated that Tom Grant doesn't know very much about the case. Caller stated that caller was even present at the cremation of Kurt's body. Caller claims to know people and vehicles of all the people around during that period of time but refuses to talk to Unsolved. The caller would like to have the police contact him. In the letter that Kurt wrote he spelled Frances wrong. It should have been F R A N C E S. He was thinking about retiring. Dylan Carlson was Kurt's best friend. He was the one that checked him out of rehab. Caller wonders why Dylan was never questioned about Kurt's death.

Caller says her son did video playing Kurt as a young boy with Courtney Love. Caller says male nanny was no longer around at the time of video shoot but caller did meet male nanny. Male nanny had wild colored hair, black finger nails. Caller has a theory that the male nanny could have had something to do with Kurt's death. Caller heard Courtney talking to male nanny about him using some of Kurt’s air mileage but caller does not know whether or not Courtney gave the nanny permission to do so.

Caller was a drug counselor at a treatment center on a reservation in Oklahoma (will not say which or where) and says that two days after Cobain's death, a young man named Mike (a best friend and neighbor of Kurt's from childhood) and an ex-girlfriend of a famous rock star came to the treatment center strung out on heroin. Caller cannot remember Mike's last name or the woman's name but says she was between 35-40 years old and had lesions all over her body from drug use. Caller states their treatment was paid for by Courtney Love and they stayed for a week. Caller says that Mike might have been at the house at the time Kurt Cobain died. Caller has not been able to track Mike since he left the treatment center. Caller took them to the airport where they flew to LA. Caller had the impression that Mike thought he was going to inherit money after Kurt's death. Caller slurred heavily and her account was not very consistent. Also, she had no specific reason to believe that Mike was involved with Cobain's death.

Caller said that all she heard was a gun shot on the tape. Caller did not want to leave her last name or number.

Caller said he has a suspect who could have killed Cobain. Caller began reiterating what he had seen on the show last night. The suspect's name is Dylan Carlson who was a friend of Cobain. Caller said he believes Courtney Love wanted Cobain killed and had Carlson do it. Caller apparently made tons of notes on his theory and can't read it back. Cobain got a gun from Carlson because he liked to shoot things out back. Dylan gave Cobain the gun. Caller put his sister on the phone to tell me that Dylan was the last person to be seen with Cobain and that he had the gun.

She also says that the man Cobain took with him to buy his drugs from a girl named 'Christie' was killed some months after Cobain died. Caller says that the investigating officer in the Cobain case was shot and killed on an off ramp. Caller adds that the areas the drugs were sold were the Lower Queen Anne and Capitol Hill areas. Caller says this drug dealer named 'Christie’ may be located in one of these 2 areas and may shed some light on this crime. Caller's son and his friends feel that Courtney Love, Cobain's wife, killed him. Caller says that Cobain was seeking a divorce from his wife and adds that if she can think of 'Christie's' last name... she will call back.

Caller says they worked at the photo lab that handled the photos... Wy'east Photo Lab in Seattle... and the caller says they saw the photos and weren't supposed to look at them. Added there was no drug kit in the photos, and that the note left by Cobain wasn't as long as portrayed on the show; caller says it was a short note. The message could not be made out in the photo, but the note shown was not the note. Caller adds that there were 3 beer bottles around... Miller Genuine Draft... and that coroner's name was 'Tony'. The shotgun used did not go through his head, it exploded in his head... hardly any blood at the scene. The number for the photo lab is 206-283-7900, call Meg to verify the information given.

Caller is a gun manufacturer. Caller states that the shotgun that was used to kill Kurt, the way they showed it on the show, the rifle and an ejected case were on the floor. Caller states that this gun would not extract and eject a case without someone shouldering the shotgun because it is a long recoil-operated gun. Caller states that if you held the gun in any other position other than against the shoulder it would not extract and eject because it is a long recoil-operated shotgun. Caller states if the story happened the way it was portrayed the case would still be in the chamber.

Caller also stated that a car was out in front of his house (a white Neon). Caller suspects that Courtney has something to do with all of this. Caller has been in contact with Tom Grant who states he agrees Courtney is involved. Caller used to work in the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills. Caller remembers Courtney Love stayed at the hotel; caller worked graveyard then. The day after, the caller heard the news that Cobain had killed himself. The day before he died Cobain called Courtney Love. Love wasn't in and the caller asked Cobain to leave a message. He told the caller to tell Love he was calling from Manhattan. Other than this, the caller had no further information.

Caller has info to pass onto Tom Grant only. Says he is a 47-year-old man that drives by Cobain's house and has every day for the last 17 years. Saw a car coming out of the driveway around the time of Cobain's death. Said for 17 years has never noticed a car leaving residence before. The car was a small, blue Toyota with several subjects in it. This is what he would like to discuss with Mr. Grant. Called this info into Seattle PD the day the body was found but PD said Cobain was probably dead at the time of this sighting. Seattle PD did not investigate further; requests that this info be sent to Mr. Grant only. Nothing further.
